The Whataburger Golf Tournament brings our community together for a day of friendly competition and meaningful impact, all in support of Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center. Your participation helps provide essential programs and services for veterans, transitioning service members, and military families right here in Colorado Springs. The Inaugural Event
The Whataburger Open launches a new tradition of community, camaraderie, and support for those who’ve served. Hosted at Cheyenne Shadows Golf Course on Fort Carson, this first‑ever tournament celebrates 10 years of Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center and the impact it continues to make across Colorado Springs.
On May 6th, golfers and supporters will kick off the day with an 8 AM shotgun start, enjoy breakfast, lunch, games, prizes, and of course, a visit from the Whataburger Food Truck. More than a day on the course, this event fuels Mt. Carmel’s mission in providing vital transition services, behavioral health support, employment assistance, and community connection for veterans and military families.
